Screw driver and nut driver recommendation

This can be considered a two part recommendation since they dont have to be the same brands. Other than the over prices big truck stuff, what do you guys use or recommend for a screw driver set and a SAE/metric nut driver set?

I've done some shopping on eBay just because its a good place to look for unbiased variety, but I am only finding $10 junk and $80+ over priced names.

My only requirements for both sets is, easy identification ie. colored handles, and no hard plastic old Skool fluted handles that hurt your hands. And made in the US.

I've been using a set of Craftsman Professional screw drivers with the semi soft black handles that I have painted part of to quickly identify slot from Phillips, and Klein nut drivers, which I like but the only color ID marks is on the. Head and it wears off very quickly. And if on their side, you can't see anyway.

I have a decent collection of Snap-on drivers but do not use them all the time.
My go to drivers are all Klein. I like the tip identification on them. The nutdrivers have held up well for me, but I also have backup sizes in Craftsman.

I picked up a set of Williams screwdrivers about a year ago and just love them.

My nut drivers are Klein and C-man. Both are perfectly acceptable.

I am a Klein fan, its something I use a lot, 5/16 for hose clamps and a few screws and 7/16 for 1/4 20 hwd. I can easily twist off a soft (2) 1/4 bolt. I bought up a couple 3 Menards last year, they are fine and I like the coding as good or better. The Klein paint comes off in rugged mechanic service.

I replace the stuff in my tote tray with new stuff and slide the older back in to regular service, I always have new and sharp where I only have one of a kind on the road. I like the slotted drive next size above 2,, 4 they go up? Square shank and a tip thet just fits an electric screw in a pinch. Those 8 piece driver sets are probably about right, very similar to my travel tray. Buy metric nut drivers in different brand.

I love my Klein drivers that I have in my electrical tool bag. I am an electrician by trade but have been out of it for several years only doing the occasional side job. I just don't think they are marked well most of mine are worn off from use. I also have an old set of Craftsman made in USA with the Klein style colored grips. They look just like the China Stanley's but the clear plastic is clear, not yellow. BUT! A dog I used to have got ahold of my 1/4" and chewed the grip off of it. And they no longer make them nor do they offer metric. These are the reasons I'm shopping for new sets.

I kinda like the looks of those screw drivers. The prices are reasonable too, kinda middle of the road price.

The paint on my 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, and 7/16 is worn off. The only ones you can still see is the 1/2 and 9/16. Maybe I should just repaint all of them. I wish the Greenlee drivers were made in the US.

I have been using Xcelite nutdrivers since 1972 and they are the best. Their catalog says the sockets are case hardened (like a lock schackle). I have tried all brands of nutdrivers and nothing compares. In trade school (SCROC in Torrance Calif.) They had Xcelite nutdrivers in a plastic tray. Then I worked for RCA Factory Service, they supplied our hand tools yep you guessed it Xcelite. They are the BEST!

have a 20 year old set of c-man nut drivers that i used 1 time...c-man screw drivers 20ish years old that i use all the time..i also have 1 set of old black handle snap on screw drivers that have seen very limited use....mainly used for more delicate work like electrical connection stuff on my rig where i want a good screw to screw driver fit....i have found c-man to be good and relly good 40 years ago...one thing i refused to buy was c-man ratchets...dang they have sucked for years.......
