I have the same Ernst setup and the same New Age boxes. I had to remove the protective material for the Ernst to stick.

Looks like you still have the protective pad in place and these new magnet holders are strong enough to still hold to the drawer bottom?

Nice setup not cheap looking at Amazon. $25 each.

Exactly. the issue I had is these are striking screwdrivers the handle is weighted and even if the ernst held strong they did not hold the driver in place. Still thrilled with these things, its the stupid things mostly I get excited about

I just put a long magnet in the middle of my screwdriver drawer and put the drivers on both sides. They dont move around

YouTube should delete any videos posted that show things like this when guys are wearing sandals or are bare footed.

You will never see me in sandals or bare foot in my shop. It is a working shop so you will leave with a metal splinter in your foot. I guess if you have some kind of man cave type shop you can get away with it.

They look nice. Ernst makes some good products. I don't need them since my screwdriver drawer is full and they keep each other from rolling/moving around.

That looks awesome. I agree with your assement of the Ernst screwdriver racks: I bought two, and they stink.

Unfortunately the MTS rack is $45 up here in the great white north on Amazon!

No dividers, just a strip.

It's a strong magnet. It's what I use for my screw drivers as well. Let me see if I can find a quick pic.

Bare foot, wine glass, vertical video, and two large drawers dedicated to one row of screw drivers.

I'm willing to bet the handles still have price tags.

Cheap ones in the front so wife and kids hopefully grab/MIA those first. Phillips pointed one way, slotted pointed the other, little/stubby ones mostly over in the corner. Hex drive in their own little section. Chisels and punches mixed in for visual variety.

Gunsmithing drivers with special tools locked up. Electrical/insulated screwdrivers with special tools locked up. Nice Williams hard handle set with special tools locked up. More screwdrivers in the tool drawer in the truck. More in the boat. More in the camper. Couple more somewhere in a tool pouch which reminds me I don't know where that thing is.

That's organized, right?

I scrubbed them with Simple Green (Aircraft) and they're pretty good, just don't stick your nose right up to the handle.

If your screwdrivers move when you slam the drawer shut,
then you don't have enough screwdrivers. Pack'em in tight and they won't be able to move.
It's a dirty job, but somebody had to say it. :bounce:

Just for the record, I use a combination of the HF magnetic bar and "pack'em in tight" methods in my toolboxes.

I think the person in the video really needs to learn how to slam a drawer before he can say just how good that product is.

I don't like storing screwdrivers in drawers. They take up way too much space. I think hanging them is the way to go.

I use pegboard organizers currently, but am thinking about making something (wood or metal) that would allow them to be stored vertical or horizontal.

i have adapted a organizing rack thing at menards for screwdriver holding. the prepunched holes arent quite exactly spaced for drivers
i also have the hf strips zip screwed to the side of one of my boxes.
and the 6 double hole pegboard hangers.
and to stop the off gassing of acetate handles, i clean with mineral spirits and spray a couple of coats of gloss urethane

I don't like using magnets for organization, they end up magnetizing whatever they are holding. My magnetic screwdrivers stay magnetic and my non-magnetic screwdrivers stay non-magnetic.

This made me laugh so hard, the vertical video was 100% on purpose I think Bob Saget FacePalmed :)

Wine is one of the best things on this planet, bare feet I wear flips about 90% of the time and for my spacious organization well right now I am drawer rich after the remodel :)
