If your screwdrivers move when you slam the drawer shut,
then you don't have enough screwdrivers. Pack'em in tight and they won't be able to move.
It's a dirty job, but somebody had to say it. [emoji106] :bounce: [emoji106]

Just for the record, I use a combination of the HF magnetic bar and "pack'em in tight" methods in my toolboxes. [emoji106]
Somebody once told me that "a clean and organized toolbox is an unused toolbox" I believe this video makes their case and point lol

My screwdriver drawer follows the pack'em in tight method for sure.

Can one ever really have "too many tools"

I know many of the comments were all in fun but whats wrong with the judging world we live in, I work hard for the ability to buy quality tools, I enjoy using them and knowing where they all are and it's my goal to make them last. WTF is the issue???

I share something I feel others may enjoy and then get your ridiculous judgmental opinion? Oh yeah this is the internet and sad people are going to point their stupid fingers and make assumptions because they feel they are so superior. Let me try and stop my eyes from rolling

Wow guys, tough crowd. Some of the posts are out of line IMO.

Dentaltec - I for one, am glad you posted your review of this useful tool product as it brought awareness of something new in the market I didn't know was out. Thank you for making a video of it...don't let the other posters dampen your enthusiasm. Ignore them and know it is probably 100 people that are thankful for your post vs the 1 that feels like they need to comment on something OTHER than the subject product.

i have adapted a organizing rack thing at menards for screwdriver holding. the prepunched holes arent quite exactly spaced for drivers
i also have the hf strips zip screwed to the side of one of my boxes.
and the 6 double hole pegboard hangers.
and to stop the off gassing of acetate handles, i clean with mineral spirits and spray a couple of coats of gloss urethane

This is truly a situation of the pot calling the kettle black but...what type of business / hobby are you in that requires over 75 drivers of one sort or another?

But hey, I am just a guilty as the next guy when it comes to having a gigantic pile of tools...

Put enough in the drawer and they don't move much. or leave em in the snap on package. Or the package from harbor freight. No wine, id rather a cold beer.

Yup... If someone spends $2k on a TV, no one batts an eye, but if you buy some expensive screwdrivers then somehow you're a waste of skin if you don't spend 16hrs a day using them.

No idea why this is.

I never spent over $500 on a television but I do have a couple boxes full of chrome do dads. And once you strip out a couple hard to disassemble screws/fasteners you learn the value of good tools and equipment.

No cares what people think of what I spend my hard earned money on. They probably can't wrench anyway. Tell em go back to their man cave and watch what ever sport they chose to spend their time on.

Good post. Thanks for the review.

Is the magnetic contact enough to magnetize the drivers?

imma service pipefitter foreman. install/maintain/repair large hvac/r equipment. work on everything myself.
that shouldn't matter.
the wall with the 3 racks, those are what i consider 'collectables', not users.
USA diamond tool, USA roscoe, all generations (i think i'm up to 9 generations) of channellock. pegboard pic, is not that entire wall. theres more drivers. and, i didnt take/post pics of the drawers. i think theres about 4 drawers. 1 is 'collectable' multi bit drivers. we had a thread here years ago, and i got a few, sent a few, in trades to other members.
i also collect other items, limiting myself to initial cost.

The best way to organize screwdrivers is to line them up in the drawer from one side of the drawer to the other. The left side of the drawer is one partition and the right side is the other partition. Put one row of screwdrivers across the front of the drawer and row across the back of the drawer. The front and back rows will be pointing towards each other.

What? You say you don't have enough screwdrivers to go from one side of the drawer to the other? Then you need to buy more screwdrivers. :D

No cute organizers for me.

Only thing I use organizers for are wrenches and sockets.

Actually, if you need a partition to use as a "book end" at the end of a row of screwdrivers, magnetic Mechanics Time Savers work beautifully.

Man, folks really have their cranky pants on this week... holiday stress must be getting to 'em. Looks like a nice solution, if only I had a spare drawer near my workbench to put drivers in.

Been looking for a more flexible/space-efficient upgrade from the old pegboard holders myself... starting to think I'll just end up stacking 2x4s and drilling into them to make a knife-block kinda deal because it would work for my own oddball shop and needs.

I did not know Turnip Tire had these. I am going to order a set, now, for pickup tomorrow.
Any update on the quality of these? I looked for them at my local crappy tire, but no dice. Am curious if it'd be worth going to the one across town for them.

I hope I did not bum you out with the wine glass remark since I was the one that pointed it out. It was without malice, that's why I used the smiley faces.

I'm not sure why some men really care how another man uses or keeps his tools/work area. This is other than curiosity and why I like the "Show Your Toolbox" thread. I love seeing the drawer shots but, matters not if they are clean or messy.
I do most of my own work and why I buy tools. I may work on a greasy car one day and the next project may have some of the same tools laying on the beige carpet in the house.

Anyways, here's my clean, organized, and packed screwdriver drawer.

This made me laugh so hard, the vertical video was 100% on purpose I think Bob Saget FacePalmed :)

Wine is one of the best things on this planet, bare feet I wear flips about 90% of the time and for my spacious organization well right now I am drawer rich after the remodel :)

Glad you can take a joke. I absolutely cannot do flip-flops or bare feet in my garage. Hell, I even adopted a "safety/steel toe only" rule after I was cutting sheet metal and the grinder caught, ripped out of my hands, and landed on my sneaker.

Luckily, I still have all ten toes.

Anyways, here's my clean, organized, and packed screwdriver drawer.

I have that same small Craftsman flathead. It is my go-to for just about everything small that requires a little prying.

As I said above I was in a very similar situation same drawers and same Ernst setup. Not sure I’m as impressed as you are but I’m sure these will come in handy.

I have to leave to many empty slots for the big handles to fit. I think I’ll use these in the mounted on the side of my cabinets for a set of screwdrivers and wrenches.

Bare foot, wine glass, vertical video, and two large drawers dedicated to one row of screw drivers.

I'm willing to bet the handles still have price tags.

Thongs are work boots

I do have my garage flip flops. I don't wear them inside the house (if I remember not to....) cause they have metal shavings embedded in the bottom of them. Don't want to scratch the hardwood floors too bad or leave metal shavings inside since I'm usually barefoot inside the house. :spit:

I find that if you pile the drawer full of stuff it doesn't move around much.

I love that type of organizer for the various screw drivers, but would prefer something that uses a mechanical "grip" and not magnetic, as the magnets just collect too much **** over time.
