Twin grip and/or the Engineer screw pliers. Like Blake, neither have failed me. I bought 3-4 of different Engineer, and I think also a 3 Peak in different sizes before the Twin Grip was available. But today I'd buy a Twin Grip first as it might cover all your needs.

I don’t have the gas pliers style. I have had the PZ-58 model for years. They have been pretty great so far.

I have various Engineer screw removal pliers, as well as Merry & the Knipex. They all work well, I use the Engineers more cause it's smaller stripped screws that I encounter more.

Aside from the pliers, I have these stripped screw removal bits. I also have the screwdriver handle made for them (and extension) that is tang through so you can lightly hammer the bits in if needed. They're made by Engineer also. Don't think they're sold in the US though, got them from Amz.jp. (The silver bits are for SHCSs.)

My stripped screw removal kit that I put together.

PZ-58 (most popular it seems) & PZ-60. Black ones in the kit are PZ-57 (grips down to 2mm). I also have the PZ-59 which are useless to me.

Knipex Twin Grip & Merry ZA-185. I rarely use these.

Vice grips/locking pliers work best for me. Can put more pressure and dig in deeper than pliers can.

I have two styles of Engineer and they do well. I also have the Knipex Twin Grip and use them more because of their versatility.

The Knipex TwinGrip pliers have served me very well. They work great for pulling bolts/screws/nails/staples out of tires and solid wheels. I've had to remove dozens and dozens from various equipment at work.
