Don't have any pictures but I picked up a #6 screw extractor today for $1.50 & it's U.S. made
it's the little things like this I like to pick up :bounce:cost less than a coffee at the foo foo coffee places

And exactly what do you intend to do with this reasonably bought screw extractor?

I just picked up a set of Proto square screw extractors a week or two ago, must be that time a year to get screw extractors.

the size it is it's great for getting out 3/8 npt fittings when they get broken, twist off when replacing. mostly on air lines either customers compressors or on the delivery trucks at the shop. The reason I bought it ws going to remove one such brass fitting on a trailer brake line on one of the trucks, but it was too small(just barely started grabbing the insides before it slipped all the way into the fitting....doh

Does anyone have luck with these type extractor sets? Ive used the spirol/fluted ones that are longer but most the time they snap off inside the broken bolt, the best way ive found to get a stubborn broken bolt out is to weld a nut and washer to whatever is left, or the double nut method if enough is exposed.

Ny Dad has/had a set like the one you've pictured when I was a kid,but I never used them, I've always used the longer ones like you describe, usually in the larger sizes & most have been bought singly, one at a time. I usually use them inside smaller 1/4 or 3/8 brass pipe fittings as mentioned above, but have also used them to remove stuck cartridge case from a reloading dies(word of caution here don't recommend using on magnum cartridges there's not enough meat in the die and they tend to split open from the pressure)
