Does anyone use these? I am finishing up our shop/garage. It is not a working shop, meaning an occasional project but I am not a car guy or a wood worker, or anything. I will have 9 fixtures in 36x36x12

example:

Are you considering these?

It sounds like your almost 1300 sq. ft. building will be used primarily for storage. Those lights will probably be good enough for that. Personally I don’t like small glaringly bright sources of light. For that reason, my garage is lit with 4 foot twin tube LED fixtures.

I got 4' tube station but my electrician used the round blue boxes and the less are very narrow compared to old floresents so they don't cover the hole and my wife hated them.

Went and picked up 9x 2'x2' leds tonight, gonna try them tomorrow...

A decent option if you have Edison sockets.....

Those edge lit LED panels are great. You’ll love them.

I presume it’s edge lit panels you’re talking about...

Probably adequate light for a storage building. You won’t have a glare problem if those 2x2s are the ones I’m familiar with. With 12 ft. ceilings, and that size floor, you could go with bigger ones. What’s the lumens per fixture on the ones you’re considering?

So you built a 36x36x12 garage for storage?

Not sure what that means except I think you have dry-walled ceilings and something you purchased isn't wide enough to cover the round box. Did the wife hate them cause they didn't cover the box, or cause you purchased clear lensed LED (just guessing here).

What product did you buy?

Wake n

Correct on holes inot ceiling,

Original order was regular 4 foot shop lights. Last night I picred up IBM 2x2 (Four 23" leds in each) because bal. last is a separate box at top of fixture you can still see holes
