How about a couple pieces of L or T shaped aluminum extrusion notched at the appropriate places.

You could cut it with a carbide blade...makes a lot of noise but works!!

I have a little mill so maybe I will make some for mine.

A couple of strips of firm foam the width of the drawer and cut slots for the shanks. I thought I remembered a type of rubber or foam fishing rod holder that gripped on the rod shaft but couldn't come up with a pic.

Are those picks in the center of the drawer also Craftsman?
I like the look of those and may go buy some if they are available at Sears.

The foam strips with cut outs I got from Sears, you get 4 sticks about 2' in length, I use them for screwdriver storage. Works pretty good, slides around a bit as I didn't use the sticky tape on the bottom to secure it to the drawer

I guess they sell a shadowing kit if you will. Looks like it will work as well, maybe buy a colored yoga mat, spray some gule on the backside of the CM foam, and press onto the yoga mat. They don't say how big the pieces are though.

Yes they are from sears. They have craftsman condoms on them, I dont know who actually makes them as the look identical to a few other sets of picks i seen if you take the condoms off.

I like my screwdrivers to be outside of my drawers. I use them too much to be having to open and close a drawer every time. (Yeh, I know its a tough life I lead)

I have a Service Cart as my main box and it has provisions like this for screwdrivers and prybars and I use them as well as this widget from Sunex linked above.

Nice screwdrivers by the way. I have many of the same ones.

My favorite way to organize screwdrivers it to pack the drawer so full, that they stay in place. :) Otherwise, the Ernst options plierwire posted are cool. Stay way for options involving magnets...

I used to use a type of 1" thick polyethylene foam duct insulation to shadow my toolbox drawers. The shop I used to work for used it whenever something more durable than fiberglass was specified. It cut easy with a sharp knife and was pretty much indestructible. I think Johns Manville made it.

I've used rows of magnets for both screwdrivers, and sockets (Instead of snap in racks for the sockets)

The magnets I used were too strong for the screwdrivers (but are perfect for sockets...), so I stopped and reverted to the "Have ebnough screwdrivers so they have no where to go" method.

But in hind sight, take some 1/2 of 3/8, X 1" wood strips, and use some of that flexible magnet tape. Just enough to keep them from rolling around, but easy to pick up the tools.

I agree with Altec. You put enough screwdrivers in a drawer, they don't move. I apply this rule to all drawers.
