Following my other thread on pliers, I want to get some hard handled screwdrivers. Don't want that nasty grease on my Wera VDE or Stanley Fatmax. Any suggestions? (Other than Snap On). I'm in the UK, but don't mind ordering from Europe if needed.
SK makes some very nice and affordable hard handle screwdrivers.
PB are really nice but also really expensive.
Considering their excellent quality they're really not that bad. A 6-piece set of Multicraft screwdrivers (PH & flat) is £38 including the VAT and delivery.
CK 8 piece set is £33 on eBay and that's with out looking for a deal, the difference really comes when you buy the singles that you don't get in the sets.
I have a few PB tools and will be buying more in time, but screwdrivers for working in the garage on cars, machinery etc covered in oil and dirt I would want something cheaper that you wouldn't worry about abusing a bit. CK make many different handle styles so there is a good chance of finding one that works for you.
their wood handle drivers have a hard handleAre the Witte drivers a hard handle or not really? I have only used one and can't remember.
