Screwdrivers for outlets: ECX or slotted vs #2 sq

I did a little wiring over the weekend, and I'm still definitely no fan of ECX or slotted screwdrivers. Does a #1 square drive run any risk of rounding out the recess on ECX screwheads? I'd like to keep a #2 phillips and a 1/4" slotted and a #1 sq rather than an ECX in my electric pouch if the #1 sq works OK on combo heads.

I've found that the square is less likely to round out an ECX combo screw than a phillips, but it still can.

For me, the ECX screwdriver in the electrical toolkit is a game changer.
