So I'm wondering if vintage is the way to go for a scroll saw. I seen a couple of old cool ones local.

Not really sure what all I'll be doing. Do I need a 18"? Variable speed?

Delta, Craftsman?? Any preferences??

Is old better than new as far as scroll saws go. Or in this case is newer better. Thanks

I have a 1950's Beaver scroll saw that can double as a band saw. I bought it so that I could make cuts in the wood for my car. That thing is so beefy I don't need the band saw. Plus it is built better than anything on the market today, for less money.
