Scrubs in a bucket

Not necessarily a "tool", but my boss brought some of these into the shop today, and I have never used a better hand cleaner. One rag got my greasy, dirty as hell, hands spotless (and exfoliated) in about 30 seconds of scrubbing. No rinsing... My mind was blown.

They're cheap at Sears

I'll be keeping a bucket at the house from now on too.

Anybody else used these?

I recommended these in a hand cleaner thread a year or so ago. I don't remember anyone else commenting about them in that thread.
They did slightly change the formulation here lately. They still seem to work the same but they smell slightly different.
I am in sales of products like this. It is amazing how much the formulations have to change over time in order for them to comply with EPA standards. Seems to all trickle down from CARB.

I really like the Tub O' Towels that are made by Federal Process here in Cleveland. I use them not only for cleaning my hands, but also for cleaning tools and locks.

These things are awesome. The place I used to work at would supply them to us so I stocked up a few cases. I use them for everything from cleaning my hands to cleaning parts to cleaning around the house. Once I run out and have to pay for them myself I may just clean my hands with them.

I've got a 6 pack case from a couple of years back. Surprised how they have not dried out. Good stuff though.

Dan

Just keep the lid closed. They will dry out quick if left open. Seems like I get about 30min of use out of one before they dry out. Other then my hands, I use them a lot to clean stuff in the shop.

Warning, they will take the letters off of Dymo label tape real quick:D

Wow, I will not be hiring you:headscrat

I have been over to a guys house that worked at Allisons here in Indy. The guy had a 55 gal drum full of new leather gloves. He had a really nice tool collection too.

I keep a couple zip lock baggies around and stick them in if their not to dirty. BTW.....I put a few in my junkyard bag last summer and when left in a hot car for a week or two they get real smelly!

May have to get myself some, I always wear gloves because I hate having to go inside and wash up to go on my phone/write something/use clean things.

If your scrubs in a bucket dry out , just drizzle some water in them
brings em right back better than new , They are the best things ever
probably saved my septic system many times over from grease contamination:)

I get Pure'nGentle wipes at Wal Mart in the drug dept. for $0.94 for a pack of 84. Keep them in the car/house/garage. Had ink on my hand, soap/water no good. Used one of the wipes and got the ink off.
