I recently got my first obdII car, a 2006 Lincoln Zephyr. I don't have an OBDII scan tool, and figured if I'm gonna get one, I might as well get a good one that will do realtime data monitoring and recording. I know that as far as scan tools go, they can get REALLY expensive for the pro mechanic jobs, but I only really need it for this particular car.
Anyone have experience with the SCT X4? I know it's meant specifically for Fords, but does it read diag codes on other brands as well? I'm open to other suggestions, but I definitely want something that will do realtime data monitoring and recording for diagnostic purposes.
