I was watching a Lake Speed Jr video on oil additives and he was using SD-20 to clean flasks between mixes. I'm looking for other's experiences.

Anyone swear by Spartan Chemical SD-20? If so, what do you use it for, and what does it replace?

I haven't heard of it before but from initial research it looks like a good thing to use in place of brake cleaner for sensitive applications.

I had never heard of it. Looking at the SDS, it's a fancy aqueous solvent. I suspect it works well as a degreaser, not so much as a general purpose cleaner on heavy build ups. Low irritation to skin, but avoid inhaling it. The stuff I've used in aqueous parts washers is pretty similar chemistry.

What stuff did you use for parts washer may I ask?
Me too I just watched that video and he mentioned SD-20, never hear of it but now I'm googling it and seems interesting and been used by many. Recently I started using Dawn Powerwash and it's good, dries up fast. Totally awesome is fine too but with strong odor, spray nine might be somehow less potent but good for different surfaces, overall, including plastics and car interiors. My little experience.

SD-20 is awesome stuff for cleaning anything. foams up and in a pinch I'll use it to clean my hands..... yeah not great for breathing it. I work with a lot of racing teams and I know the good ones because they have SD-20 on their trailer.
