I just poured the floor in my barn, 40'x72' about 3 weeks ago. I want to seal or coat it with something to help keep it clean help stop stains from oil, ****** fluid, etc.. I like the look, and color, of some of the Epoxy products but they seem pretty expensive. If I just want to seal/waterproof it is the stuff at Menards, HD, Lowes good stuff? Like SealBest or Rust-Oleum? Looks like they recommend letting the concrete cure for 30-45 days before doing anything and I'm at about 25. Anyone got any do's or dont's??
Thanks
Acrylic sealers like SealBest will not withstand much vehicle repair and some automotive chemicals. It will scratch up for sure and can stain from some fluids as well as soften and smear when trying to clean up solvents, brake fluid, fuels, etc. I'm not sure what Rust-Oleum product you are considering.
If you have a reasonably smooth finish, one great option that is relatively inexpensive for the protection you get is a clear coating called TS210 by Concrete Sealers USA. Two thin coats are all that is needed in most cases. No etching is required. It is durable and will withstand a multitude of automotive chemicals.
We did a review of TS210 and performed a variety of unscientific testing with it. You can read about and see a few application pictures in the article below.
Why TS210 may be the best no etching required, clear coating and sealer for bare concrete, workshops, and garage floors. We test for durability, oil stain resistance, and ease of application.

I'm leaning towards the PS100. When they wet cut the floor they sprayed a light coat of clear paint over the chalk line before cutting. What would be the best/easiest way to clean this off?
Do you know what they used exactly? I would try applying some mineral spirits and scrub it with a stiff nylon brush or green Scotch-Brite pad. If that doesn't do it, you may need to sand it off.
PS100 is a great product too. However, it's a penetrating sealer and not a coating like TS210. Though it provides superior stain protection compared to most other penetrating sealers available, it will not provide the same protection that TS210 will.
