hello, I recently sealed a basement floor with seal krete concrete stain and two coats of clear coat paint. I ground the cement, cleaned and etched the surface with a seal krete product. The floor was dried with fans and dehumidifiers. 10 days after cleaning 2 top coats were applied 24hrs a part.
Now several weeks later tape was put on the floor to hold and when pulled up there are marks on the floor and stain color on the tape. ANY ADVICE as too what is going on?
Thank you

Judging from the information on the web regarding the products. This is not a true stain but a topical treatment (sits on the surface).

You have to be careful with basements. Water transmission through a slab is not visible to the untrained eye and can cause havoc on topical stains, sealers, epoxy, etc...

You may have applied these products, continued to experience water transmission and this caused the product to either fail or not cure properly.

The manufacturer will be your best resource at this point.

thank you, SealKrete is trying to figure out what's going and has been in contact with me. Do you have any advice on what I must do or do I just wait and see?

Tape will typically pull off acrylic sealers, something to do with the adhesion strength of the tape being higher than the acrylic...this is why we do not recommend acrylics garage floors.
