Ive heard a lot of people do that but Im way to nervous about scoring a shaft. I would probably feel better with the plastic bottle tip mentioned earlier but I think I would still rather have at least the lisle tool. only like 17-20; not replacing a crank or camshaft because I scratched it, priceless. works every time though? hmm scratched any shaft at all before? Thank you

(Front Hub Bearing Seal)

Saw a youtuber hammer on the bearing to force the seal out, neat trick, but thought I'd modify it somewhat...

I couldn't get the "t-puller" to grab on enough of the lip of the seal to pry it out...

So I used the t-puller to pry up on the bearing itself (which I was replacing), which then started to lift the seal out...

Once the seal was up high enough, I used the t-puller to then go around the lip of the seal and pry it out
