I have a nice little oil can with a bent spout. It was probably from a sewing machine. Anyways it leaks somewhere around the seam in the bottom. Is there something that can be used to seal it up? Not a big filler hole so it would need to be something pretty fluid?

I would prefer to do the inside.

Thanks for suggestions.

Clean out really well, including a final flush with acetone. Mix some good 30 min epoxy in and tilt the can around to distribute well and let set for several days.

Are you sure it’s leaking from the bottom? Most cans leak out the spout due to changes in air pressure daily and slowly roll down the side in a film.
