This is not strictly a "flooring" topic, but... any recommendations for sealers for outdoor concrete, specifically a garage apron/driveway? It's about 1,100 square feet, and has a broom or "bull float" finish. Is a Thompson's Water Seal-type product the way to go, or is there something better out there?

Check your phonebook for concrete supplies. There are too many products to list, all better than Thompson's. The people there can suggest something. If solvent -based sealers are still allowed in your area, use one of them. Water-based products can look milky when they get wet. Be careful of high gloss sealers, they may be slippery when wet. Some of the manufacturer names available in this area are Euclid, Meadows and Tamms. Others may be in your area.

At my Company, we use the Sonneborn Kure-N-Seal™ 25

Kure-N-Seal™ 25 is a transparent, 25% solids, VOC-compliant, and solvent-based compound for curing, sealing and dustproofing concrete. Its semi-gloss finish keeps surfaces looking newer and brighter.

The question is where you can get it in your area. I get mine from a construction supply company that deals in acid stains and concrete surfacing material. http://www.csiconcretesupply.com
