I have a new 32 x 32 shop going up, and I've decided to install tinted concrete. I've looked at this concrete providers work, and they know really have done some nice jobs.

I was just wondering what the range of options I have for sealing it are? I'd like to have it oil, brake fluid, brake cleaner, etc. stain resistant, and I may do a little welding on it.

What would be my range of options? From the most exotic and commercial high end solution to something which maybe I could do myself and then refresh periodically.

I just hate stained floors! :)

Thanks!

You might want to google Master plate floor hardener. Firestone stores used this in the stores made in the early 80's and it has held up remarkably well. It goes on the fresh concrete just after the first floating and becomes a part of the floor. It is very expensive but it last like the floor is cast iron. It does not come up unless you physically chip the concrete out and even that is hard.

Keep in mind, that the color will fade without some type of real sealer. Integral color alone does not insure against fade.
