Searched the forum for sealers and was overwhelmed by all the info available!!! So here is what I need, sealing garage floor for resistance to water, oil and salt. Garage will be used for light mechanical work involving jack stands and floor jacks, engine hoists, engine stands all with steel wheels. Considering Ghostshield 8505 with a densifier or TLPPC, not concerned with finish could be clear or shiny. I'm looking for what will hold up hold up the best and be the most cost effective? Advise or suggestions???

Concrete holds up great if you are not worried about an aesthetic coating. TL37 and 8505 is a great combination and there is nothing visible to hurt. Same can be accomplished with TLPPC with 1-2 coats depending on surface texture. Third coat really starts to add shine.

Could you expand on what you mean by concrete surface texture and TLPPC? Does TLPPC have any ability to fill in minor imperfections, or does it just soak into the surface?

My concrete at home is pretty typical for a garage. smoother than a sidewalk or driveway but not power troweled. The first coat would seal it and the second coat would get any place the first coat missed and perhaps add a slight luster. My concrete at work is smooth. I would likely have to create some profile and still the product would build faster and create gloss faster.

Does TLPPC have any ability to fill in minor imperfections, or does it just soak into the surface? None. Its a penetrating sealer, not a coating.

We carry a superb clear one part polyurea coating called SPGX that most likely will fit your needs. Super resistant, no prep, and cost about 35 cents per sq foot.

I've looked for that product on your site and can't seem to find it.
