Slowly finishing a new 600sf shop behind out house (I love we have no HOA)
This will be a working shop and not a mancave.
I do some fabrication (TIG, MIG, Plasma, Oxy)
Heat damage has me concerned on going epoxy.
I want a floor that is not alot of work...which has me leaning to a sealer
but a single part Poly is tempting since I could acid dye the floor and always touch up issues later on.
I am planning maybe to toss a sheet or two of hardy board under my fab table area to hopefully catch any hotwork so maybe that puts epoxy back in the game?
I am planning to go the DIY route with the home depot grind with the prep tool and maybe grab a 100# pad from amazon to get a bit smoother.
Opinions or suggestions on Products? I have been leaning to GhostShield 8510 if I go sealer but haven't picked a clear or color topcoat if I go that route instead.
Shop is in Eastern WA and will only be for work so not many worries on slip hazards from water and will never see any road salt. Space is conditioned with a mini split and is fully insulated.
