Sealer vs. Polish

A good friend and customer was nice enough to share a recent sample for a customer. Treatment on left is two coats of our Standard Epoxy Clear Sealer, treatment on right is a fully polished floor.

Standard Epoxy clear gave that brown tone with no color added? What was applied to the right?

Yes, it penetrates well causing a darkening effect.
The right side is a polished floor, no sealer.

The floor on the right looks ground, not polished.

I like the look of the epoxy, even with oil stains.

It's definitely polished. Ground floors do not reflect light like that.

What's the prep for your sealer?

The floor you see in the pics was diamond ground.
Acid etch is an option as well. If you go this route, do it right.
