I have a month old 2400 sq ft concrete floor that I need to protect. Main use will be my wife doing ceramics and then storage, tinkering on vehicles and general use.
No idea of what would be best to use. It will be dusty due to the ceramics and that’s ok but would rather not deal with concrete dust.
Any help would be appreciated.

You have a couple of options: coating that sits on top of concrete or material that penetrates to seal. If you are going to run heavily loaded steel wheels (i.e. floor jack) all over the place, think twice about the shiny topcoat (often epoxy) thing and go with penetrating sealant. If you are more concerned about a pretty and easy-to-clean put a top coat on. Members on your side of the 49th (assume you in USA) can give you some brand names and experience.

Ghostshield products are a penetrating sealer and is what used. I have a working farm shop and it does exactly as it said it would do. Vendors here can provide great advice and products. Their support to the members here is phenomenal.

You can do a little of both worlds, depending on what you want. If you want something easy to clean in the ceramics/storage area then maybe consider doing a topcoat in that area. If you are doing heavy vehicle maintenance that will scratch up the floor, then use a penetrating sealer in that area. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Are you going to be framing off rooms for these separate needs/activities, or is it one big open area?

So far one big open room. I’ll probably have to make a room eventually for her to paint in.

Take a look at our Ballistix System, lots of posts here about it and its more durable than any sealer or epoxy (which we also carry).
