I want to drill and install a residential outdoor hydrant in my retaining wall. Trying to figure out what would be good to seal it from leaking. I have a French drain behind the wall but there is still water Present. IMG_0153.pngIMG_5889.jpeg

You want the bib indoors, or outdoors?

What is in the other side of that "retaining wall", I assume it's below grade outdoors?

Bib wanted inside, the other side is below grade.
I tho about hydraulic cement but I didn’t know how it would react to the copper pipe.
I didn’t think about rapping the pipe.

I’m confused (it doesn’t take much). Are you drilling a hole all the way through the wall? Where is the supply line coming from? It looks like you’re finishing the inside but not sure why you would want a hose bib in a finished room. I don’t really see the need for a frost proof hose bib if it’s inside.

Yeah, that's totally the wrong hose bib....

You need to plan something that surface mounts on the interior of the wall/retaining wall. Personally I would consider a sink

Not showing I have a small wash bay in the floor.
There Is a water line out in the yard not too far from where I want to put the bib.
If I don’t do it this way it might freeze if I don’t keep the main part above freezing. My other option is to run PEX up the 16’ side walls and 40’ across the ceiling. Just trying to figure out what to do.

If you run that hose bib through the wall your pipe will be outdoors....where it will freeze.

If I'm missing something please post a sketch or pic
