Sealing off air gaps

Hey guys, new poster here but have been following along and reading for awhile. I was hoping to get some opinions on my spring project.

I bought a house with a 30x60 pole building (built in 2015). It's unfinished on the inside. And has vented over hanging soffits that go around it. I know you want to keep ventilation in the "attic" but I'm having a ton of issues with Bees and bugs finding their way in through the roof cap and where it hangs off the side.

Eventually I'd like to insulate and finish the inside but I want to make sure that most the bugs stay out. It's almost to the point I can't even use it with the hornets in there in the summer so I want to take care of it soon before they come out for the year.

My plan was to unscrew the ridge cap and put another layer of vented foam that fits the corrugated roof. I had a few pieces blow out. Pic should be attached.

The second issue is the sides that over hang the soffit, I was just going to try and seal up with spray foam but open to other ideas. I'll try to include a pic of what is going on there right now. It looks like he tried putting some foam in there but it didn't work. You can see the daylight And bees come right in.

Can I just get some cans of great stuff and spray those all up and just rely on the vented soffits for ventilation?

No expert here so I’ll let others give better answers. What I do know for sure is you’ll need to apply for a second mortgage if you intend to use cans of Great Stuff.

I would think spray foam would work, but as you said you will probably want some sort of ventilation in that space, so you would need to address that . you probably want high ventilation to get the air moving and thus exchanging .
if I was going to spray foam, I would buy a commercial gun and tubes as they are a lot more adjustable etc than the " cans of DIY retail foam"
another option might be some foam noodle backer rods to stuff into larger openings , using less foam

I just meant to seal up those small gaps that the corrugation makes. Eventually I'd like to have it all actually spray foamed to insulate it but for now I just want to keep the bees and wasps out

You should be able to get foam closures for the Eves. Also closures without screen for the ridge

Yep. Look up R-panel foam closure strips. Those should have been used at your fascia. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Union-Corrugating-Foam-Solid-Roof-Panel-Closure-Strip/3359422
