I had a few sheets of 3/4" tongue & groove OSB left over from attic floor, so I used it as my work bench top.
Seems like it might be a good idea to seal it with something. Any recommendations?
Thanks, Ron

Stuff is so cheap, its probably not worth sealing. Maybe rub some wax, but i wouldnt bother sealing.

Throw a couple coats of paint on it.

Cheap?? 3/4" T&G OSB is around $23/sheet... that isn't cheap when it's coming out of MY wallet!

I'd put a piece of 1/4" tempered hardboard over the top. It's cheap and durable, and when it finally does get beat up you can easily replace it. It looks better than OSB, too.

The reason I use OSB for bench tops is because it is cheap and disposeable. When it gets dirty just cover it with a new peice, you don't need 3/4, a new <$10 of 7/16" sheet cut in half will do it.

I primed mine with Oil primer and top coated with Self Priming Quick Dry Urethane! 2 coats and its bullet proof and easily cleaned off....
