I recently bought an old Sears & Roebuck Model #149-24270 table saw, with a separate motor and belt drive. It's on a pedestal base, with a large drawer underneath for dust collection. I can post a pic later after the camera charges.

Does anyone here have one of these old saws? If you do, how do you have it set up for use? The base mine is mounted to is not very stable, so I need to re-mount it, and I'm looking for ideas. I've got a small shop area - that has to accommodate woodworking, bike repair, & other misc. projects - so I think it will work well with the limited space I've got, If I can get it mounted solidly.

Do I build a table around it? Set it into a workbench? Kick it to the curb and buy something else?
