Search bar wont work for me...

Just re-registered. New phone, new email. *****, but I got on...
When I click the word "search" it gives me a title bar to input text into. As soon as I click in that, my text screen attempts to rise but everything just disappears. Forums not much help without a search function. Galaxy s8 plus. Not on app...

Is this possibly a "noob acct" issue? If so, its a pretty dam dumb one.

The search function has never been the best on GJ. Many members have found the best option is to go to Google and put in their query along with the words "Garage Journal"


As for how your phone behaves, that I can't answer.

Same thing happens when I try to search. I also have a Galaxy tab....

I tried to search disposal location earlier and all I got were posts about where people could get their trash and two about wiring them up. Saying it does not work too well is an understatement, lol. Shame it is not a google based search engine.
