Search function?

Can't seem to make the search function work. As I begin to type the search box disappears. Any ideas?

Does that for me too. When I'm on my Kindle Fire. It drops out as soon as I try to type.

From a PC with MS Edge Chromium, it works fine.

Instead of typing in the box, click on advanced search.

It let me type with Advanced... but I didn't get results...

I tend to use GOOGLE... you can use their website to focus the search on a website. Forgot the syntax... I have it on a shortcut on my kindle.
