Searching for an auto off rocker switch.

I want add a work light to my truck bed and want to turn it on and off from the bed not the cab. I want rocker switch that will turn off automatically after a set time say 15 minutes if one exists. I have a tonneau cover and would hate to forget the light on and then drain the battery

You raise the cover and the switch makes contact to ground.

you could put one on the tailgate also.
open the gate and light turns on.

I haven't seen a rocker switch like that, but they make relays for that purpose. You could wire a rocker switch to a relay module to accomplish what you are looking for. I'm on a mobile device now, so not so easy to post links, but search amazon for automotive or 12 volt time delay relay and you will see lots of products.

You could use a delay off timer like this one from Hella http://www.amazon.com/dp/B003C508XO/?tag=atomicindus08-20. The tailgate switch is also a good idea.

Yeah, there is not going to be a switch I know of with a timer built-in.

Thanks for the links I will check them out. The only reason I asked was because saw an eBay listing that said that. Maybe it was a relay
