So, I have a Sears model 875.501152 3-Ton floor jack that I am replacing all the seals on. I have a seal kit that is on the way from HCRCnow.com. I have a few questions that I hope Hiball or anyone can help me with.
1. A screen that goes in one of three holes between the tank and ram fell out while I was sliding the tank off. The screen is supposed to go in the hole that intakes the fluid. How can I identify which hole is the intake?

2. There is a large seal where the tank attaches to the body. It looks like it is a plastic seal. Should I replace it? Can it be re-used? Where can I purchase a new one? The pump was not leaking from this area before I took it apart.

3. Where the release valve screws in the pump body, there are crush washers. The top crush washer has a ridge on it that looks like the release valve gear formed on it when it is tightened down. New crush washers are flat. So, my question is; when I install a new flat crush washer, will the gear form this crush washer like the original one? (BTW, I did not yet remove the release valve`s crush washer, o ring, or the collar from the pump body yet).
