I went to Sears today to pick up my prybar set and 100' garden hose...and I noticed that all the aisles were filled with the red & white sales tags. So I strolled through to see what they had on sale.

If you are interested in multimeters, all of them at my store were at least 25% off (including Fluke).

A 33" sliding bar clamp was 50% off. Individual drill bits were 50% off, individual wrenches (ratcheting, flex ratcheting, and standard) were 50% off, all soldering irons and accessories were marked down, screwdriver sets, impact sockets, mechanics tool kits, etc...

I picked up a pair of Knipex 10" side cutters for $24.99 (reg. $35.99)

Go stop in and check them out. Again, every aisle was littered with the sales tags.

ATC,
thanks to an inattentive Sears employee I own 4 pairs of the Knipex 10-inch cutting pliers. They had the C-man and the Knipex both marked for $16.99 ea. Manager wasn't happy when he had to override the supposed to be price on four pair of the Knipex. Early Xmas shopping..

"Club" sale or not, they're not what the OP is referring to.
True. I was near a Sears today, so I dropped in to check out the sale. Didn't see the large amount of sales tags that the OP is talking about. Guess it depends on the store location or manager.
