Thanks for the heads-up, Paul.

:rocker:

I used some SYWR points so we'll see whether these things are any good especially since the price is right!

I picked a pack of them up cheap a few months ago and have used them several times. Just ordered another set.

So the store I picked mine up from has a kiosk system with the 5 minute max wait guarantee... it took them 7 minutes to get to me, so I got a $5 coupon good for regular or sale price merchandise, no minimum purchase required. Made them free!

So my little bench cookie thingies are really nice. These are plastic with some kind of weight in the middle of them. Very grippy with a sharp point on the one end. I like them a bunch and glad I grabbed these for the very reasonable price. You can even re-use the little plastic storage case they come in if you don't use them all the time. Cool. I think these would make nice gifts for just about any woodworker who doesn't already have the hockey puck type bench cookies. - Paul

Good deal, these are made by Milescraft... $2.99 a piece at Menards or the same price for a set ($12) at HD/etc.

I have a set of bench cookies and have never used them :p

Good to know. I'll check out the other Milescraft products too. Looks like Sears rebadges several of theirs. This one is really a sweet little design, low cost but very functional. - Paul

Just got the email to pickup my 2 sets.

Used SYWR and will pay a grand total of $0.00.

Can't beat that price.

These are great, I have two sets that I bought on separate occasions for about 5 bucks each when I had $5 points to burn from viewing a local ad or something. So I got two sets for free about a year ago.

I like this style better than the original bench cookie style. Because you can stand them on end, use the pin point side, or lay them flat.

I don't do any woodworking, but these things are great if you need to prop work pieces off the bench for cleaning, painting, etc.

Great buy if you have a few dollars in points to burn, and need some kind of 5 dollar filler item.

They are filled with sand or something (only about 2/3 of the way), so whatever way you sit them on the bench the sand shifts to the bottom. Making it weighted on the bottom and and light on the top, as to be stable and not top heavy.

Oh, also another tip for those with SYWMax Free shipping.

If you add Quantity=2 to the cart, it is Free Shipping. (Because it brings the line item total over $10).
