Are any of these a good deal?

- premium 22 drawer tool chest $699
- heavy duty 13 drawer tool chest $299
- 5 drawer powered project center (I don't need one that is powered) $129
- craftsman hose reel and hose (air) $39

Thanks

Is the 255 Mechanic's kit made in the USA? I need to replace a lot of sockets lost over the last couple of years in a resto-mod, and I have want both 6 and 12 point since I have needs for both. I'm not crazy about the ratchet's, but the set I have is still working great so these could be spares.

Thanks,
Kerry

Yes, if that's what you are looking for. The project center might not be the best deal of the 4 though.

If you sell off what you don't want or need, you can make back a bit of money, which is the best way to do it.

At least when buying in store, you can examine the item to see if it is made in China. Some of those deals are not bad when USA-made, but if they are Chinese, he-he, that's no bargain in my opinion.

This year's Black Friday might be an experiment to see how well their Chinese made tools sell at similar past BF prices. If the majority of sales are for gifts, then they will sell many tools.

I was eyeing up the c3 cordless drill that comes with 2 lithium batteries for $99. Normally just the batteries are like $60 each right? I have a bunch of other cordless c3 tools with just nicad batteries, but I have one of the first c3 drills an its all beat up and old so I figured get a new drill and the two lithium batteries.

Is it just me (probably) or are most of the BF deals this year really mediocre? In the past I've seen great "stocking stuffer deals" - micro plier sets for $9 - *BTW last year I bought the 12pc nut driver set on BF for $10* . . .everything at Lowes, HD, Menards and Sears this year seems like they are only putting out BF fliers because they have to but nothing is really something I want to make a special trip for . . .?!

I went and checked one out at the store today and everything in it was marked made in USA. I figured this was one of the last chances to get a set without pieces from other countries. The price was good for me also so I made the order online, and then picked it up in the store while I waited.

I went online got a new plier set and the pass through socket and wrench set. Same prices as the ad and they shipped it for Free! Not sure why people would get up early in the AM to stand in line when they can order online. I'm usually sleeping off a turkey and shiraz hangover on Black Friday.

You are right on the money - the ads are all pretty flat this year.

I have a pair of the 35 LED work lights and love 'em. I cant speak for the other one. The 35 light you click once and the lights come from the side where you see it, again and it comes out the top...a third time and it goes through both and 4th to turn it off. Pretty handy.
Comes with a wall and car charger.

It's a nice light, but is it just mine, or is the switch pretty hard to push.
I find mine is.

Saw the 5 piece USA made wood chisel set there for $30. Very nice set but didn't pull the trigger for only $5 off. I can save up SYWR points and get a much better deal.

I bought the 12 pc nut driver set (made in USA) for $12.99 and the retractable hose reel for $39.99. I've been wanting a retractable reel for some time now and I figured it wasn't a bad deal.

I picked up the 22 Drawer roller box (40"W x 16"D) for $549 (regularly $1,100). It's a nice box for my needs. I was a little disappointed that the deal only applied to the red box with the black drawers though. I would have much rather had the solid black one.

Picked up the big Die Hard battery starter/charger for $69 too. Again, not a high end model but sufficient for my needs.
