Nothing in there worth fighting the traffic and crowds for me.

Disappointed. I didn't exactly need anything but I am always willing to buy if the prices are right.

I'll swing by the store beforehand and see if there is any USA made sets and pick those up for BF prices.

I might get a couple of the Gladiator 30" wall boxes for $119. I was hoping for $99 boxes for Black Friday, but for 20 bucks more, I might bite on a couple. I don't see any tools I want or need, especially if it's all China stuff.

If you are going to buy them online let me know before hand so I can submit a lead.

Does submitting a lead get a discount?

What's a Sears' member?

When I submit a lead it helps my numbers out and gives me commission ^_^ Also sometimes they MAY send a coupon with it. But I doubt it on black friday :/

Is that 10" sliding miter saw any good? It's on page 35.

That is a single bevel miter. Once you have a double bevel miter, nothing less will do. Personally have the Dewalt 12" Double Bevel Slider, which is a great machine.

A single bevel 12" miter is great if you have to repeatedly make bevel cuts and 90 on the same piece if (big if) your 90 stop is at true 90. The single bevel you don't have to dial it in you just know its 90 when its locked.

We had both a single and double bevel saw for different jobs, and depending on your use the double is either perfect or too much. Not meant to be argumentative but more additional info. I only own a double bevel slider myself.

So I just went up to my local series and I was entirely dissappointed in Sears.
I went today to check out the 3piece locking pliers and they were chinese knock offs.
Also they only had chinese bionic wrenches
also all the socket modules were chinese I am dissapointed.

Stopped off at Sears to pick up an order today; took a look at some boxes while I was there.

The Black Friday "doorbuster" 11-drawer stack ($199) is truly an awful piece of garbage. The steel is really thin with a ton of flex and the roll cab only has 4 drawers that are comically deep; they really waste a lot of space.

I've looked at it several times and I think it's a bit flimsy for the money. The Kobalt 10 inch slider at Lowes seems better built for that price point...but I ended up buying the Dewalt 12 inch single on sale for same price after a 10% off coupon.

With this item it seems like there is a high probability that you will receive a China set, necessitating a trip to the store to hand that trash right back over to them.

I ordered the bit set and picked up in store last night. There were no USA sets anywhere in the store to exchange, but I'm happy for $30. The case has the same "HF smell", but that's never bothered me.

For $30 it's a nice set, but no way would I spend $100 for the China version.

I ordered the bit set and it arrived Tuesday evening. It was MIC. When I opened it and started checking it out I found 4 of the female torx sockets were stamped backwards. On one of them, the walls around the drive socket were paper thin. Fortunately, my local store had several USA sets in stock and swapped it out for me. The quality of the USA set is nothing to write home about but for $14.95(after discounts and coupons) I'll take it.

Got mine delivered yesterday and was able to exchange it for the Made in US set that I had intended on buying when I went into the store.

I'm pretty much done with Sears...I know most guys aren't fans of eBay on here, but I have gotten some killer deals over the past few months. Sears is just too hit and miss anymore.
