I have an older sears craftsman roller cabinet and one set of drawer slides are wearing out. Can they be purchased new somewhere? What info do I need??

Yeah, Waterloo has been making most Craftsman toolboxes for the past number of years. I know for sure if the model number starts with 706 then it's Waterloo.

They have more parts available and at better prices than Sears. I've got a box circa 1994. I needed the "Craftsman" nameplate for it. Sears didn't even have the part called out on their website as available for purchase. Looking at a couple other boxes in the same range - 9 drawer instead of 6 - I found a nameplate that probably would have worked. Sears wanted like $3.50 for the plate, then another $2 for the clip thing to hold it on.

I called Waterloo and they found the nameplate in stock under my box's model number. They charged like $2.45 for the plate, threw in the clip for free and shipped it to me. I got it in 2 days.

Oh, and Craftsman model numbers are normally on a sticker on the right side of the top drawer. Unless your box is really old (pre-80's). Then I dunno.

Great service.
