SEARS / Cartersville GA closing 40% off everything

SEARS Hometown located in Cartersville, GA is closing the doors and everything is 40% off while it lasts.

I picked up some 19.2 volt cordless tools that I really really "needed" and some XCP batteries. I've never seen an XCP battery for 40% off so could not r-e-s-i-s-t getting 2 small ones and 2 big ones.

Next Thursday I think it drops to 60% off but stuff was going fast when I was there yesterday at 5pm.

Thanks for posting! I was about 5 min from the store when I saw this, went over and picked up the last Remington 22" high wheel trimmer. There were a lot of folks in there and doubt anything good will be left by Thursday. Most Craftsman stuff goes on sale for 50% off several times a year so 40% off is not anything to get too excited about. But the C3 stuff usually doesn't so it is a good time to buy that and there was some Dewalt stuff there(not the large tool kits).

Exactly. Cracks me up when everyone thinks they are getting a deal when a place closes. If people would just wait eventually it would be a deal. Don't buy the first day it's on sale though.

I went ahead and picked up the Remington high wheel today as it was already much cheaper than I could find one anywhere else and they don't go on sale like the Craftsman stuff does. I always check my store's local and find many 50% off deals on the stuff I want. Plus, they keep rotating the stuff that is on sale.

Glad you got an OK deal, but to tell you the truth it's guys like you and that other guy askmeslutmom that always make me regret having posted info to this forum.
