I found this set marked down from $99.99 to $49.99. Some worthless douche had stolen the 12mm off of the package.

I bought the set for $49.99 and the 12mm single for $20.99. If my math is correct (it rarely is) that means I saved $29.01.

The model #'s on the set pieces end in an -X-, the single ends in a -G- otherwise they are the same.

They also had a set of metric Gearwrench stubbies with three of them missing marked at $19.99.

Seems kind of silly that they mark these down instead of just putting a single in the package and putting it back on the rack. I will be checking back regularly at the two Sears stores near me.

Not really good enough of a deal to flip them on e-bay but I'll take 'em.

I dont know why some stores do that, I always just fill it from the individual rack and mark out that one...

Prices for the ratchet reversible Craftsman wrench sets are much better online, especially on eBay including the cost of shipping. The examples below are for the 7-wrench set, but you still come out ahead of Sears even if you have to buy 1 more when compare to the price of their 8-wrench set.

I have this set. I found it at Sears in about 2002, mismarked for $39.99, which I think was supposed to be the price for the regular flat-panel version.

Jumped all over that deal. These are the first ratcheting wrenches I owned, and they are a damn nice set for the price. Soon after, all the Snap-heads at the shop where I worked got into the ratcheting wrenches---truck brands though. This was the only tool they borrowed from me.

In my opinion, these are right up there in quality. Soon, your regular combo wrenches will move to the back of the drawer.
