Sears Compressor Advice

A buddy's dad was going to pitch this compressor because the pump pulley was wobbling causing the belt to jump. After cleaning it up the pulley looks fine but the keyway on the crank end is boogered up pretty good. Otherwise it's pretty solid. It's a Sears 4hp, 220v, model 106.174840. I know it's made by Campbell Hausfeld. Any ideas on pump model number? Looks to be similar to some of the pumps on the old green Speedaire models? I would like to find a replacement crank. If not anyone used something like Locktite 660 with success? Thanks!

If you can weld, or know someone, perhaps you can fill it in and file out the key way to fix it.

I believe you could install the large pulley with the key nut inboard over the good area of the shaft. To me it doesn't matter which way the fan blows as long as it's moving air. Of course, if the pulley itself has bore damage then you would need a new one and a repaired shaft. New cast iron pumps cost as much as any good small used compressor. I've got one similar that I couldn't sell for $80 so I just keep it around.
