Sears/Craftsman Replacement of broken tools

Is Sears still replacing Craftsman tools or can I take my broken Craftsman tools to Lowe's

Call the warranty phone number on the craftsman website. Sears is having inventory problems and Lowes only has certain things in stock. I was told to go to my local dewalt factory repair centre and they ordered me a Proto universal joint because they didn't have a Craftsman. This is in Canada BTW, so YMMV.
