As far as your locality COO may vary, but mine had lots of cheap US made Wilde prybars on sale.

3 Piece Set was $30.59...I was tempted to buy that too but already had a spare

Also, having both the regular and professional versions, I would suggest to anyone that doesn't have either to hold out for the Craftsman Professional version. Once I got the Professional versions, I never picked up the regular version again.

The analogy I would use if you had a set of Craftsman Acetate handle screwdrivers, then you got a set of Craftsman Professional screwdrivers, you would never use the Acetate handle screwdrivers again (except for opening paint cans).

Sure, striking caps are nice, but they don't stock Pro versions in the longer sizes.

They have a 31" available.

And I would agree about the quality, I typically grab a size bigger than what I need when using the red handled bars to help cut down on some of the flexing.

I'd have to agree - I have all 5 of the craftsman professional pry bars (which are rebranded Mayhew dominators) and I really like them a lot.

I have both versions as well and still find myself reaching for those good old red handles when I'm working on something all mucked up with grease. They clean up so much easier than the pro's. I also think it is good to have 2 sets anyway, I can't tell you how many times I find myself using two of the same size bar when prying on something.
