Sears floor jack help

I have a Sears 1.5 Ton jack I want to restore and need to know if this outter nut needs to be removed? Also ideas on where to source a kit for it, thanks

That looks like one of the old Walker rebrands. Seems like you’ve rebuilt your share of hydraulic jacks now. Are you collecting or reselling?
