Sears floor jack that has held up well

I have a Sears blue and white one from the early 80's that was a really good jack but recently quit working. I can't recall what the capacity is.
2 1/2 ton maybe? I need to rebuild it because it was not so heavy that you couldn't just throw it in the back of the truck without straining a nut lol. I replaced it with a 3 ton from Northern Tool that is HEAVY!!

Does anyone have this sears floor jack? It has been a great floor jack without any problems. Never have needed to add any jack fluid to it.

I have one similar to that and the 2 1/4 ton shown by another poster. Unfortunately the tags are unreadable and the online 'Jack' professionals that had me sending all manner of photos and stamped #'s drew a blank. I bought this at sears when I was doing mobile mechanic stuff sometime in the seventies, I believe. It's also been a beast, but needs at the least a seal kit. Hope upon hope I can get this id'd or find some seals for it.

A friend of mine gave me this Sears jack....
It wasn't working when I got it and I just couldn't, in good conscience, chuck it in the scrap metal bin......so I had it overhauled

It's no beauty queen, but it works well

I just went up to my shop and looked at mine. I can't see anything in normal operation that would cause that. Maybe the handle is installed incorrectly. I suggest you remove the handle and reinstall it.

When you reinstalled the handle to the piston plunger it was put in 180 degrees off. The round part on the plunger needs to face to the back off the jack or else yo can get a full stroke.

I have a similar jack. The internal components differ from the sears 328 diagrams that I have been able to find. The two plastic gaskets for the tank are not included in sears seal kits that I have found. No tags or model numbers engraved on the unit. Does anyone have an idea about make/model? Thanks in advance!

You have a 2 ton Fleetwood jack, probably a PF200M model. They are the same as a 2 ton Sears. There are minor changes in the years made and some rebuild kits have parts for both jacks.
