I've got an old Sears 1.5 ton floor jack that I have had for about 30 years. Great jack that has served me well. Recently the power unit has started to fail. No leaks but it will not support a load. Of course Sears no longer carries the power unit or replacement parts. Does anyone have a line on where to get parts for these old jacks?

You are going to need a BIG wrench, with a BIG cheater bar to get the tank nut off !

If you take apart the overload valve (under a screw cap cover) carefully count the number of turns on the spring screw so you can reset it to the same position.

PM HiBall. If you have pics or the model number of the jack, there are probably several places to source the seals. Sears didn't make the jack - they private labeled it, so the parts are out there. Sears just won't support it.
