I was at sears the other day and noticed they had a VCT floor that looked like epoxy with chips in it...can you get this for under a buck a sq/ft...i went to a local flooring place and got around 3.50....armstrong sells something similar but i don't know how to get a price on it, i guess i could try home depot?

Most VCT tile has flecking in it, do you know what brand Sears was? HD and Lowes generally have the Armstrong product for between 60 and 70 cents a sqft.

Um.
What?

i had a feeling i might get that reaction...FWIW its the sears in the willow grove mall....its not the regular armstrong stuff, and its not the crazy type of "safety floor" the more expensive VCTs offer (as far as i've seen)....it truly looks like an epoxy with chips, only vct...it isn't textured
