Sears guy tells me they are phasing old styule sockets out?

Has anyone else heard this? Does anyone know when Sears has their biggest tool sales? January or February? Iwould think they would try to generate a little business after christmas, Ooohhhh I mean the Holdiay season!

I don't know, but I wouldn't be suprised many of the wrench sets have been on sale on and off for a fairly deep discount over the last several months.

They are probably going all laser etched ones......which are a waste...I had a few and I still couldnt see what the size was if I looked at it

I actually like the laser etched sockets, but I dont have many for a few reasons...

1. I dont really have craftsman sockets, the ones I do i bought before they became big
2. Cant justify the $$$, Im still a kid, and its only a craftsman socket.

Undoubtedly they are easier to read, but I cant see people flocking out to get them.

Yup, I do like the Husky black sets though. Look pretty slick too.

I can't read them either, which is why I've never bought them. Would may be black writing work better?

I never knew Hansen made single rail socket holders....and thats not even on there internet site....hmmmm


****EDIT***** never mind i had to look harder to see the smaller rail in the front....forget what I said...I have a nasty cold and its blurred my vision

I have a set of them and I am purchasing more to hold all my sockets. I know they are pricey but they hold the sockets, are strong and I can read the socket size on the tips.
