Sears Item# COO?

Does anyone know if there is a ways to tell COO by going off of the Sears item# on the Cman tools?

No need for part numbers. Just look for the "Craftsman" logo. If it's got the logo then COO is China.

I'd say most all of the USA items that went over seas retained the USA numbers.

This is true afaik, but I did not know if the actual item#(not the typical five digit model#) had changed when they moved production overseas.

All sockets/wrenches and ratchets with the exception of the premium ratchets are china. Screwdrivers and pliers are USA... For now

Yes sir, online. If you chat with Sears online, they all say the COO is USA, which is no help. I have purchased some mechanics tool sets recently and they were still all USA made.

No way to tell online and since the item #;s didnt change really no way for an online rep to know for sure. If you go to a store and see an item that has usa on it, you can use their kiosk to do an online order (often cheaper) and give the item to the cashier to process. My local Ace hardware carries craftsman usa wrench sets also.
