:dunno: So my wife bought me a Craftsman 3 ton jack about 3 years ago for my birthday. I noticed that it been "leaking down" on me here lately and my dad told me that i can order a kit to rebuild it from sears, so i went to the "parts direct" website and they only sell the "power unit" as a whole unit. Well that fine and dandy but the part is $112, you can by the jack for $80. So are jacks a "disposable item now????? :dunno:

I can supply you with "All" Soft Parts to Rebuilt that Jack. It will require you tear it down and Mic the Parts. I guess to answer your Question... Yes.. They Never intended on you rebuilding the Jack, Welcome to 2012 America.. Were we deem value as "How Cheap we get by Today to get Tomorrows Job done". If you need assistance with the Teardown, I have Rebuild thread around here somewhere and it can be found in the Sticky section. When you need to measure parts, Just shoot me a PM and ill walk you through it.
