Sears Japan jack value? Need help ASAP Sat 5/6/17

I'm at a swap meet right now and there's a guy selling a 1.5 ton Sears jack for $25. It won't stay up. It's the green made in Japan style.

Likely needs a rebuild. I'm guessing I could get it for $20 or maybe less.

Is it worth it? I don't know what these go for.

Pass on it. A new 1.5 trolly jack from many vendors is less than $25. OR a new HF for $79 is bigger and better.

I decided to pass. I think it was a decent deal, but with a small child at home I can't take on any more projects.
