Kmart #1 was less than 10 miles from my house. I don't know where to FIND a Kmart within 50 miles of my house !

The Sear store with the largest dollar volume during the 70s and 80s is also less than 10 miles from my house (opposite direction). I have driven by it a few times in the past month and can not tell if it is open or closed !

Just a “preview” according to the email. I’d expect shop vacs to be in there or on some promo, our store has hundreds of them in multiple sizes.

Both Sears at 12 oaks and the outlet store across the street in West Oaks are closed as of this past spring.

Only the Livonia Mall location at 7 and Middlebelt and Westland Mall at Wayne and Central City are open...

There is no point in putting them on Thanksgiving paper if they are closing the stores soon.

At this point, I think if they really want to survive, their only strategy is to quickly close all stores, use the money from that to revamp the website, be efficient and streamlined their internal ordering process, and be an online only store like Amazon but without membership fees. They can not compete in B&M settings.
